What to bring to a yoga class.

Yoga equipment is provided – but bring your own mat if you wish.  Bring your water bottle.

Wear lose, comfortable clothes that will not restrict any stretching (students usually wear T-shirts and leggings).  When the weather is cool, bring a jumper etc and socks.  If you feel the cold easily, bring a blanket to wrap up warm when doing relaxation exercises at the end of a class.

If possible come to class with an empty belly – but if eating is unavoidable, then a piece of fruit or yoghurt shortly beforehand, or a sandwich an hour beforehand, is usually fine.
